SCETV to engage viewers and listeners during 155th Annual South Carolina State Fair

South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) will be a permanent exhibitor at the 155th Annual South Carolina State Fair from Oct. 9 – 20. Fairgoers are invited to visit the SCETV booth inside the Ellison building at the Columbia fairgrounds to engage with SCETV programming and educational resources.

To coincide with the fair’s “46 Reasons to Love South Carolina” theme, the booth will host an SCETV Content Showcase with monitors showing the unique stories, traditions and landmarks of various South Carolina counties. A recording booth will also be available for visitors to share personal stories about their county and their connection to SCETV as part of the “Your Stories, Your SCETV” project.

Visitors can also pick up a Smart Cat State Fair Scavenger Hunt form for a fun way to experience all the fair’s unique offerings. They can return the completed form to the SCETV booth to receive a Smart Cat branded item.

Also in SCETV’s booth, the SCETV Book Nook is a welcoming space where families can participate in interactive, educational activities and a enjoy a break in its cozy, quiet corner. Free children's books will be available for visitors to take home, encouraging a love of reading and lifelong learning.
