South Carolina ETV (SCETV) invites families and community members to a fun, free screening event celebrating the launch of the new PBS KIDS show, Carl the Collector. The event will take place at SCETV studios in Columbia on Nov. 8 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Carl the Collector follows the heartwarming adventures of Carl, a thoughtful raccoon who loves collecting things. Carl's unique collections often help him solve problems in his community, showcasing his creativity and compassion. As the first PBS KIDS main character with autism, Carl the Collector brings a fresh and inclusive perspective to children’s programming.
Carl the Collector premieres on Nov. 14 and will air weekdays at 8:30 a.m. on ETV-HD. Additionally, the show can be watched on SCETV’s 24/7 PBS KIDS channel weekdays at 11 a.m.

- BYOP (Bring Your Own Plushie): Bring your own plushies or blankets to the event. We will have chairs and floor space so everyone can enjoy the screening in comfort.
- Red Carpet Experience: Walk our “red carpet” and get your photo taken with Carl the Collector signage.
