During the month of February, South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) recognizes Black History Month with special programming that highlights the Black American experience. SCETV shares the rich culture and history of Black Americans throughout the year with special programming during Black History Month.

- The Wanderer: A Story of Slavery, Survival, and the Strength to Prevail - This powerful drama tells the story of a group of slaves who escape from captivity in the American South in the mid-19th century Directed by Ava DuVernay, who is known for critically acclaimed film Selma, the movie is based on a true story. Airs Feb. 2 at 3:30 p.m. (ETV-HD)
- The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song - Explore the 400-year-old story of the black church in America, the changing nature of worship spaces, and the men and women who shepherded them from the pulpit, the choir loft and church pews. Airs Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. (South Carolina Channel)
- Wham Re-Bop-Boom-Bam: The Swing Jazz of Eddie Durham - Follow the musical journey of this often overlooked, but totally unique, musical genius. As a trombonist, guitarist, writer and arranger, Durham helped author the signature sounds of Count Basie, Benny Moten, Jimmie Lunceford and Glenn Miller. Airs Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. (South Carolina Channel).
- Carolina Stories: Jail No Bail - Examine the 50th anniversary of the sit-in that introduced a new protest strategy and turned the tables on the establishment, while at the same time reinvigorated the national Civil Rights movement. The program also honors the Friendship Nine and the bold stand the men took in the face of extreme injustice. Airs Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. (ETV-HD).
- Palmetto Scene Special: Ranky Tanky: From Gullah to Glory - Take a behind the scenes look at this Grammy award-winning group from the Lowcountry. Airs Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. (ETV-HD).
- My Mama Joe: Hope & Help - Witness the life of Mama Joe and the family's journey of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease. Featuring insights from scholars and public health leaders, My Mama Joe serves as an educational tool to raise awareness about health and caregiving for the elderly. Airs Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. (ETV World).
- Harriet Tubman | From the Railroad to a Spy - Explore Harriet Tubman's untold Civil War heroism as a Union scout and spy. From the Underground Railroad to the 1863 Combahee River Raid, discover her fearless role in liberating over 750 enslaved people and shaping history. Airs Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. (ETV-HD).
