On March 25, 2025, ETV Education continued its 2024-2025 Community Forum on Education series tour with a journey to Greenville, South Carolina.
There, at Southside High School, we engaged in a dynamic conversation on school finance, aptly titled, "Funding Our Future: The Dollars, Decisions, and Partnerships that Drive Education."
Moderated by Renard Harris, host of SC Public Radio's Teachable Moments, the livestreamed panel included:
- Dr. Matthew Lavery, Deputy Director for the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee
- Dr. Garrick Hampton, the Associate Director for the Office of Student Affairs at the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE)
- Nautica Jameson, President of the Sophomore class at Southside High School
- Greenville City Councilwoman, Dorothy Dowe, and
- Dr. Edward Anderson, Executive Director of OnTrack Greenville at the United Way of Greenville County.
