- February 6-8, 2025: South Carolina Early Childhood Association Conference – Myrtle Beach
Join me for Teachers’ Playground with PBS KIDS on Friday, February 7, at 8:20 a.m. Dive into hands-on resources and discover how to use PBS KIDS media to spark curiosity and creativity in your students. Bonus: You’ll leave with a PBS KIDS teacher starter kit! Be sure to visit us at our table in the exhibit hall—we’d love to meet you!
- February 20-22, 2025: Palmetto State Literacy Conference – Hilton Head
Explore new ways to foster literacy and a love of reading. Connect with fellow educators and gain insights to take back to your classroom.
- Regional Training with SC First Steps Parenting Programs
Discover the Learn & Grow Together Family and Community Learning (FCL) program—a series of 10 workshops for families with children aged 3-8 (and their siblings!). Through hands-on activities and creative play, families explore digital and tangible tools that build knowledge, skills, and connections.
These regional training sessions use a “train the trainer” approach, equipping you with everything you need to host your own FCL workshops in your community. They are exclusively available for Parent Educators & Programs housed within South Carolina First Steps. Registration details will be provided directly by Gina Beebe or Delores Rock. - August 8, 2025: Countdown to Kindergarten at EdVenture Columbia with Jamming On The Job
We’re thrilled to bring live performances from the stars of the PBS KIDS podcast “Jamming on the Job”—Christina Sanabria and Andrés Salguero of 123 Andrés, plus the talented Pierce Freelon! “Jamming On The Job” inspires kids to explore exciting career paths through music and fun. Don’t miss this incredible addition to Countdown to Kindergarten!
