A Conversation with Dr. Doug Tallamy at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden

Dr. Doug Tallamy is a professor from the University of Delaware in the Entomology and Wildlife Ecology department, author of several books including “Nature’s Best Hope” and “The Nature of Oaks”, and co-founder of Homegrown National Park.

Wingard’s Market in Lexington, SC and Riverbanks Zoo & Garden collaborated to bring Dr. Doug Tallamy to the zoo garden to share his thoughts on native plants and selecting the right plants for home landscapes that will also help the environment. Before his talk, he sat down with Clemson Extension Agent and host of "Making It Grow" Amanda McNulty, and they disscussed many of these topics and more.
