South Carolina ETV and Public Radio wins six awards from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association

SC Public Radio reporter, Victoria Hansen, wins Radio Reporter of the Year for the sixth year

South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) has been recognized with six prestigious South Carolina Broadcasters Association (SCBA) State Television and Radio (STAR) Awards. The announcement was made during the annual STAR Awards, hosted on Aug. 3 at the Medallion Conference Center in Columbia. 

The network received three STAR Awards, including Victoria Hansen’s win for Radio Reporter of the Year— her sixth win in this category from the SCBA. The network also received three Awards of Merit, which recognizes the second-place winner in each category.
