September brings programming that showcases many perspectives and celebrates cultural heritage. Produced by SCETV, Environmental Justice: 30 Years of Federal Focus examines the state of the environmental justice movement on minority and low-income populations with its premiere on Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. Then, on Sept. 16 at 9 p.m., we celebrate 25 years since America’s Test Kitchen debuted on public television, revolutionizing the way America cooks. On Sept. 22 at 6 p.m., we are also proud to present Arriving: Leo Twiggs and His Art, a new documentary about Dr. Leo Twiggs’ impact as the most influential black artist in the Southeastern United States.
Sept. 29 at 8:30 p.m. on the South Carolina Channel and at 9 p.m. on ETV-HD, join us to celebrate outstanding individuals and organizations for their remarkable contributions to the Hispanic community and beyond with the 37th Hispanic Heritage Awards. This prestigious event recognizes the impactful achievements that have shaped Hispanic heritage and culture.
