ETV LEARN Spring II Session courses:
- Each course is approved by the SCDE to earn 20 Renewal Credits (NO graduate credit).
- Registration period: April 5 - May 17, 2024
- Coursework period: April 26 - June 4, 2024
- Cost: $75/each
- Work at your own pace! Facilitator support is available if needed.
FREE course offer for Exploring Naturalists Impacting SC & Beyond:
In addition to the nationally-acclaimed NatureSCene series and South Carolina Public Radio Nature Notes segments, naturalist Rudy Mancke helped ETV produce content for K-12 students and Natural History courses for educators. Rudy often described Natural History as the “golden thread” that ties all subjects. Students are curious about the world around them! Sharing connections to the natural world engages young people in learning and helps them realize they are part of something bigger than themselves, part of all the wonder and beauty of nature that we all can enjoy, care for and help protect.
As we continue to remember and honor Rudy, we are offering our Exploring Naturalists Impacting SC & Beyond course for free to the first 10 participants who enroll in one course this Spring II Session and then let us know they want the free course. The free course must also be taken in the same Spring II Session.
Steps to receive the free course:
- Enroll in an ETV LEARN course beginning April 26, 2024 (other than Exploring Naturalists Impacting SC & Beyond)
Promptly email bjamison@scetv.org the title of the course you enrolled in and state that you'd like to take the Exploring Naturalists Impacting SC & Beyond course for free. Please also include your name, address, and school/district if applicable
If you're one of the first 10 participants to do so, we'll enroll you for free in the Exploring Naturalists Impacting SC & Beyond course, and if you're not, we'll let you know.
