ETV LEARN Summer Session:

  • Registration period: June 3 - July 26, 2024
  • Coursework period: July 8 - August 15, 2024
  • Each course is approved by the SCDE to earn 20 Renewal Credits (NO graduate credit).
  • Cost: $75/each
  • Work at your own pace! Facilitator support is available if needed.

  • SC & the Arts: Creating a Diverse, Unique Heritage
    Make impactful connections, explore interesting people and places, all areas of the arts plus more. This engaging course is recommended for SC history buffs, arts educators and others who love our state!
  • Women Vision SC: Changes, Careers & Leadership, Series I & II
    Get inspired by innovative women of our past & present, all with SC connections. These courses address the passage of the 19th Amendment, SCANS skills, and provide advice and encouragement for students.
  • Teaching and Learning in Carolina Classrooms, Series I, II & III
    Learn from outstanding educators who care and share. Each course features a variety of key educational topics, outstanding educators, and free resources to support teaching and learning.
  • Between the Waters: History Across the Curriculum at Hobcaw Barony, Series I & II
    Learn to navigate the innovative Between the Waters site as we explore SC history, natural history and more! 
  • Literary Tour of SC, Series I, II & III
    Explore the writing process with SC-connected authors. Meet authors we might want to read as they convey their take on key steps of the writing process and provide tips to encourage reading, writing, and listening.
  • Integrating Natural History to Engage Students,Series II & III, and Natural History in North America & Beyond, Series III 
    Engage students in the world around them to make learning fun with these courses developed with the late SC naturalist Rudy Mancke. Learn how to use Natural History in any subject!
