A new season of the South Carolina ETV (SCETV) digital series, Our Town, is underway. Each episode highlights a unique small town in South Carolina. New episodes of Our Town Season 3 air every other Tuesday at 11 a.m. on Facebook, YouTube, the SCETV App and the SCETV website.
Our Town is a captivating series that delves into the distinctive small towns of South Carolina, showcasing the deep affection residents have for their beloved hometowns. Through the eyes of locals, viewers gain insight into the charm, character and idiosyncrasies that make these towns truly special.
This season takes viewers to 10 new small towns in South Carolina, highlighting their history, culture and the people that live there. Towns this season include Port Royal, Camden, York, Conway, Landrum and others.
The first two episodes of this 10-episode season are available now to stream online and highlight Port Royal and Camden, small towns with a strong sense of community. The Port Royal episode showcases its welcoming residents and rich military history, housing the Naval Hospital and Parris Island. Port Royal also hosts vibrant festivals, shutting down streets for events like Music on Paris Avenue and the Softshell Crab Festival. The Camden episode showcases its rich Revolutionary War history at the newly-built visitor's center and the Camden battlefield. The city is home to the National Steeplechase Museum and hosts the popular Carolina Cup races. With a vibrant downtown and cultural district, the town's beauty and welcoming atmosphere make it a cherished gem.
In Season 2, Our Town visited Seneca, Cowpens, Pendleton, Greer, Lancaster, Manning, Latta, Turbeville, Lake City, Travelers Rest, Cheraw and Edgefield. These episodes along with Season 1 episodes are available to stream on the SCETV website.
