In this episode of Nature Scene, naturalist Rudy Mancke takes us to Congaree National Park, or as he likes to call it the "land of giants."
Located 20 miles south of Columbia, SC, the park features hardwood trees deemed the "Redwoods of the east" on its 15,000 acres of federally protected land. Thought of as a swamp, most of the park is actually a floodplain forest. Learn more on this #ThrowbackThursday episode. #SCETVDigital
