In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SCETV and the SC Department of Education collaborated to create an At-Home Learning initiative. Through this effort, SCETV modified programming on the main channel to include standard-aligned, educational programming. This service was paused during the summer, but will resume next month.
Beginning October 5, watch the main channel for standard-aligned content each Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Morning content will include favorite PBS Kids programming, and then starting at 1 p.m., programming will target middle and high school students. All programming is supplemented by customized learning activities as well as a learning reflection sheet.
We are excited to add a number of teacher recorded lessons in a variety of subject areas to the lineup.
