The Biltmore has been a sustainable estate since George Vanderbilt's original vision in the late 1800s. Today, the family owned property has put a focus on energy efficiency with biodiesel and solar energy production. Ted Katsigianis, V.P. of Agriculture and Environmental Science, explains the process of the biodiesel facility and the many uses that come from the production.
