TeacherStep offers 36 online courses for math teachers seeking recertification and career advancement. These courses can be taken at any time!
You can enroll in as many courses as you want.
TeacherStep courses may be taken concurrently, so you can enroll in as many courses as you would like and take up to 9 months to complete each subject.
Earn renewal or graduate credits.
- The professional development courses provide 60 renewal credits each towards license renewal and a professional development certificate.
- The graduate credit courses, all 500 level or higher, provide 3 graduate credits each that may be applied towards professional development, licensure renewal, or career advancement (they are not designed to satisfy requirements for students seeking dual enrollment credit or to teach at the community college level or above though). Some institutions may accept these credits towards an advanced degree upon advisor evaluation, so it is worth looking into.
You don't have to wait until the end of a semester to receive a transcript, either. Grades are usually reported to the Registrar's office within 10 days of completion of the final exam, and transcripts for graduate credit courses may be requested once the grade has been reported.
