SCETV to livestream Governor Henry McMaster’s update in Greenville following President Biden’s visit

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster will hold a briefing in Greenville on Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. following President Joe Biden’s visit to the region to assess the damage from Hurricane Helene. The Governor will provide updates on the state’s ongoing recovery efforts and discuss how federal, state and local resources are being coordinated to support affected communities.

Earlier in the day at 1:20 p.m., Governor McMaster is scheduled to brief President Biden at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport on South Carolina's recovery efforts following the impacts of Hurricane Helene.

At 4 p.m., Governor McMaster will be joined by members of the state's congressional delegation and state officials to visit a Medical Needs Shelter located at Bon Secours Wellness Arena at 650 North Academy Street in Greenville. Following this visit, Governor McMaster will hold a media availability, where he will highlight South Carolina’s response to the hurricane. Members of the media planning to cover the visit should arrive no later than 3:30 p.m.
