Whether you’re looking to catch up on episodes you missed or ready explore new content, we have an exciting lineup for you this August.

If you missed our new series Towns in Tune earlier this year, you still have the chance to experience this unique cultural exchange of live music and delicious plates between Newfoundland and South Carolina. Catch the first episode on Aug. 1 at 9 p.m. and the second episode on Aug. 8 at 9 p.m., both airing on ETV-HD.

For our younger audience, The Cool and the Strong offers a heartwarming tale of Magic Strong, a reluctant reader who embarks on a journey of self-discovery with his friends Rex and Reva. If you missed the first two episodes, you can catch them on Aug. 25 starting at 4 p.m. on ETV-HD.

We’re also thrilled to once again bring you SC Public Radio's 50th Anniversary Celebration with a recorded concert by the Grammy Award-winning Americana band Steep Canyon Rangers, airing on Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. on ETV-HD.

As we continue to bring you new content, don’t miss Aging Matters: Unhoused, airing on Aug.18 at 5 p.m. on ETV-HD and Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. on ETV World. This touching documentary explores the rise of homelessness among older adults in America. Additionally, tune in for American Masters: Blake Edwards: A Love Story in 24 Frames, airing on Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. on ETV-HD. This documentary delves into the life and career of one of Hollywood's most iconic directors, Blake Edwards.

Lastly, don’t miss the PBS News Special: Democratic National Convention, airing from Aug. 19-22 starting at 11 p.m. Join us for comprehensive coverage of the Democratic Party’s national convention in Chicago, where key decisions and policies for the future will be shaped.
