With global attention on the Coronavirus (COVID-19), young children may have questions. While there are still a lot of unknowns about COVID-19, one thing for sure, is that a good hand washing goes a long way to prevent sickness. SCETV has made the "Wash Hands Song" available online.
PBS Kids has also provided resources from their popular series like "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" and "Sesame Street."
Wash Your Hands
As a first step to avoid getting sick, experts recommend hand washing with soap for 20 seconds. If soap is unavailable, you can use alchohol-based sanitizer, rubbing the sanitizer into your hands until dry. Review the handwashing tips that the CDC provides.
