We started off the week by taking an old friend down to Columbia. Gary Stevens, former regional engineer, came along for the ride as we made our way to Kerry Feduk’s retirement surprise party. As a treat, we ate at our favorite spot in Columbia, but I’ll keep that a secret. At the surprise party, I was able to meet all of the other ETV Endowment interns. They are all such nice ladies and I can’t wait to see them again at our luncheon!
It seems that I have a passion for co-ops. My second story is based on the West Main Artists Co-op. On Tuesday, we spent our day shooting interviews and stills of the artists’ work. I have never been able to meet so many talented people at one time. If I had a couple hundred dollars, my house would be decorated in sculptures and paintings from the talented people who create there. Everyone we met was passionate about the co-op, their art, and were genuinely welcoming.
