The NextLens Online Film Festival will showcase talented and innovative aspiring filmmakers from South Carolina between the ages of 16-26.
Honorees are selected from South Carolina high schools, colleges and universities. The online film festival will be held each Spring and Fall featuring some of the brightest young producers and their creative short films.
Submissions for the Spring 2025 online film festival will open September 6, 2024. Find other important dates below:
Submissions close: November 22, 2024
Honorees selected by: January 31, 2025
Honorees announced by: February 21, 2025
Online Film Festival dates: March 3-14, 2025
During the festival, selected short films will be featured online at scetv.org, South Carolina ETV’s YouTube and Facebook pages, the PBS and SCETV apps. Honorees will also receive a certificate.
