These programs provide insight on a variety of educational topics, including developing a positive school climate, STEAM, education equity, reading to learn, and exploring career education in South Carolina, especially for young women. Also, we’ll meet SC Teacher of the Year finalists, hear from many students and even explore history, natural history, career exploration, and arts video-based segments that can bring real-world experiences into the classroom. Plus, we will learn how to access free online resources provided by SCETV to support teaching and learning for SC educators and parents. Educators of all subject areas/grade levels - regular classroom teachers, media specialists, guidance and career professionals, special area teachers, administration - will benefit from this PD course.
