Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light Screening

Wolf Hall is back! You’re invited to join South Carolina ETV and the ETV Endowment to celebrate the premiere of Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light with an advance screening of the second season. We’ll journey back in time to May 1536 during the capricious reign of Henry VIII (Damian Lewis) to reunite with Thomas Cromwell (Mark Rylance) as he navigates a treacherous journey to become the most feared and influential figure of his time. How will he navigate his desire to do what is right and his instinct to survive under Henry’s brutal gaze? This is the final part of the adaptation of Hillary Mantel’s multi award-winning trilogy Wolf Hall novels- you don’t want to miss this years-in-the-making historical drama!

We’ll gather for light refreshments and some insights into the historical context of Season 2 presented by Dr. John M. Theilmann of Converse University. We will then watch the entire first episode of The Mirror and the Light, weeks before it airs on SCETV Sunday, March 23 at 9 PM.
