Special Preview of The American Revolution: A film by Ken Burns

South Carolina ETV and Public Radio, in partnership with the College of Charleston and SC250, welcome celebrated, award-winning filmmaker Ken Burns to Charleston for an exclusive preview of the new series, The American Revolution, directed by Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt. This special event will include a screening of excerpts from the upcoming documentary (airing on SCETV beginning on Nov. 16), followed by a discussion moderated by SCETV President and CEO Adrienne Fairwell with Burns, Dr. Kathleen DuVal and Dr. Walter Edgar, noted South Carolina historian and host of Walter Edgar’s Journal.

Earlier in the day, Burns will join others at the historic Cistern Yard on the College of Charleston’s campus for a press conference. The press conference will be livestreamed via SCETV's social media platforms and on the SCETV website.
