Be My Neighbor Day

Join us on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Carolina Children’s Theatre in Greenville for a day filled with family fun and meaningful connections.  This FREE event celebrates early learning and the importance of being a caring neighbor.  What to expect at Be My Neighbor Day: 1) Meet Beloved Characters; Get ready to meet Daniel Tiger, the star of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and SCETV’s very own Smart Cat.     2) Hands-On Crafts and Activities Kids and families can enjoy hands-on activities that spark creativity and bring smiles to everyone.   3) Storytime, Performances, and Music Celebrate the joy of learning and around for interactive Storytime sessions from Greenville County Library, Goldfish Swim Academy, and Tell Me A Story Theatre from SC Children’s Theatre, a Scales and Tales storytime with Roper Mountain Science Center, and a family drum circle with Jeff Holland! and sing-alongs that celebrate the joy of learning.  

 4) Acts of Kindness: Participate in special activities focused on kindness and giving back. Learn how small actions can make a big difference in your community.   5) Meet Your Local Helpers; Discover the organizations and individuals who help make your neighborhood special. From first responders to community groups, connect with the people who make your world a better place.
