Steven Folks
Steven McLean Folks has worked in public television since 1978. He currently serves as an Executive Producer and Project Manager in the Content Division at South Carolina ETV in Columbia, South Carolina.
He has produced and directed award-winning documentary films for the Carolina Stories series such as “Marian McPartland: First Lady of Jazz,” “Miss Springmaid,” “Finding Clovis,” and “Myrtle Beach Memories.” He served as Executive Producer for “Georgia O’Keeffe: A Woman on Paper” and “Beyond Barbados: The Carolina Connection.”
He is Producer/Writer for The Southern Campaign of the American Revolution, an educational series produced in conjunction with the National Park Service.
He is also Studio Director and Post Production Supervisor for the American Public Television series Yoga in Practice.
