Mary Kay Andrews is a New York Times bestselling author of 30 novels, including The Homewreckers, The Santa Suit and The Weekenders, as well as The Beach House Cookbook. A former journalist, she worked for newspapers like The Atlanta Journal-Constitution before turning to fiction in 1991.

Writing first under her real name, Kathy Hogan Trocheck, she later adopted the pen name Mary Kay Andrews, achieving widespread success with Savannah Blues in 2002. Since then, she has published multiple bestsellers, with her works translated into several languages.

Andrews divides her time between Atlanta and Tybee Island, GA, where she enjoys restoring beach homes, treasure hunting and spending time with her family.
