Marion Moore

Marion Moore was appointed to the ETV Commission by Governor McMaster in 2020. A lifelong resident of Orangeburg, Moore has been actively involved in the real estate business since 1975 and professes a deep love of Orangeburg, its people and of all things South Carolina. He has served on the Orangeburg City Council, numerous economic development boards and was a past President of the Carolinas Golf Association.

Moore founded The Moore Company in 1984 and participated in developing some of Orangeburg’s nicest residential neighborhoods and commercial properties. After growing that company through mergers and acquisitions over nearly four decades, he sold it in 2022.

Moore graduated from Wofford College in 1975 and was a 1973 golf All-American while playing for the Terriers. Married to the former Sloan Wallace of Newberry, they have three children and six grandchildren. Moore stays busy these days with family, golf, and travel and remains active in real estate development projects.
