Tour de Plantersville

The Tour de Plantersville offers metric century 62, 25, and 12 miles of fresh air riding through the beautiful natural setting of rural Georgetown County, South Carolina. The cycling event on Saturday, October 26th begins and ends at a fun-filled cultural festival highlighting Gullah Geechee heritage. 

Cyclists hit the road between 7:15 and 8:30 am and the cultural festival line up kicks off at 10 am with gospel, youth performances, African dance, ethnic cuisine and more. In collaboration with Hasty Point Plantation, this year's event offers a unique rest stop opportunity with an art inspiration boat tour! Festival entry and parking are free to the public and there are activities for all ages. 

Event proceeds benefit The Village Group, a 501c3 nonprofit that supports youth and community empowerment programs in Georgetown County (www.thevillagegroup.org).
