A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Queen Street Playhouse

Inspired by the farces of the ancient Roman playwright Plautus (254–184 BC), the musical tells the story of a slave named Pseudolus and his attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the courtesan next door. It employs vaudeville and Borscht Belt style comedy. The cast is composed of performers of all genders, drag performers, performers with disabilities and special needs along with those from other marginalized communities. Incluza-Palooza has partnered with AFA (Alliance for Full Acceptance), College of Charleston Department of Theatre and Dance and HEART Inclusive Community.
