6th Annual James Otis Lecture - Recorded September 19, 2014
The SC Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and ETV are proud to present the sixth annual James Otis Lecture recorded on September 19, 2014. This year's program originated from the floor of the South Carolina House of Representatives' chamber at the State House in Columbia, SC. It will be archived at ETV's on-demand video site, StreamlineSC.org, for use by all teachers in South Carolina.
This year's speakers include The Honorable Sir Stephen Silber, Justice of the High Court of England and Wales, who will speak on "The Differing Perceptions of the Magna Carta — The United Kingdom versus The United States," and Sir Robert Worcester, Emeritus Chancellor of the University of Kent and Chair of the 800th Anniversary Celebration of the Magna Carta Committee whose topic will be "The Magna Carta, 'Foundation of Liberty', and Its Relevance In The 21st Century."
