The College Transition Connection: Learning is for Everyone

Scholarships and grants are now available for students with intellectual disabilities through the College Transition Connection. The program is available at five public higher ed institutions; USC Columbia, Clemson, Winthrop, Coastal Carolina and the College of Charleston and over seventy student are currently enrolled in the programs offered to post-secondary students at these schools. Executive Director Donald Bailey is with us for this week's discussion and offers his touching personal experience with his own son, an intellectually disabled student, who has acheived remarkable success through the program. Parents and caregivers of students who are faced with these challenges will find this podcast to be an eye-opening opportunity for this type student. Another informative Speaking of Schools podcast!
