Opportunities for Children and Young Adults With Disabilities and for Teacher Recertification

ProParents of South Carolina, Inc mission and philosophy is and continues to be to "Enhance the abilities od families to assist children and yound adults with disabilities in obtaining services and opportunities needed to become successful adults." Core standards for these children and Take Control programs are mentione in this week's podcast but the main emphasis is on Chris Zeigler Dendy's return to the state on February 28th to address the topic "Understanding ADD, ADHD and EFD." The podcast also furnishes information on upcoming recertification courses for teachers, including Rudy Mancke's "Natural History in the Classroom" which will begin on March 1. Bette Jamison, a staff development coordinator with SCETV will give interested teachers all the details on this edition of the podcast!
