Speaking of Schools

Environmental Education and Recognizing Outstanding Student Volunteers

Monday - July 14, 2014

In this episode we are joined by Lauren Ponder, Director of Project Development with the SC National Heritage Corridor. June was designated by Governor Haley as Great Outdoors Month and the Governor encouraged all South Carolinians to take time to enjoy our state's natural beauty and make outdoor activities a part of their everyday lives. Also featured will be a blog from State Superintendent Mick Zais in which he congratulated Katie Stagliano and Isabella Hixenbaugh, who both recently received  national recognition for their efforts in volunteering by the Prudential Spirtt of Community Awards Program.
