South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is the government agency responsible for public health and the environment in South Carolina. With a vast array of programs ranging from healthy living and prevention to providing emergency preparedness and response services for the citizens of South Carolina, DHEC works closely with ETV to deliver timely communications. In addition to offices in Columbia, DHEC operates health and environmental regional offices, as well as local health departments and clinics, to ensure that the many programs and services the agency provides meet the needs of local areas. Through ETV's online live streaming service, DHEC delivers essential training to its personnel who provide these services throughout the state.
