Clemson Public Service Activities (PSA)
Clemson is part of a national system of land-grant universities and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Statewide research, extension and regulatory programs (Public Service Activities) enhance economic growth in S.C. agriculture and forestry industries through a continuous process of identifying critical issues, finding solutions and transferring knowledge to farmers, foresters and land managers.
South Carolina Cooperative Extension, which is part of PSA, is based at South Carolina’s two land-grant institutions, Clemson University and South Carolina State University, in all 46 counties, and at the five Research & Education Centers.
Making It Grow!, Your Day and Expeditions are instrumental in the mission of PSA through their content, focusing on Clemson Extension's research-based information in agriculture, environment, food safety and nutrition, economic and community development, youth and families. These programs engage citizens to help build a better South Carolina.
