Tammy L. Vaught

Tammy is the K-12 Technology Coach for Marion School District 7. Her responsibilities range from evaluating, purchasing and installing new equipment and technologies throughout the district to acting as a resource for teachers. Prior to taking this job, Tammy was the technology specialist from 2000-04 for Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology in Darlington, SC. From 1998-2000 she taught computer science courses at Mayo.

Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA. She earned a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Coastal Carolina University in 2004.

In addition to her duties as a technology coach, Tammy has organized and managed a technology summer camp for rising middle school students in Marion County, has taught professional development and recertification courses in Computer Science for the Darlington County School district, and next January will present at EDTECH.

Nancy T. Vickers

Now in her sixth year teaching in Cherokee County, Nancy coaches girls' volleyball and basketball. She spent three years in the US Army before moving to South Carolina and earning her bachelor of science degree in physical education from the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg. She obtained her master's degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
