EOC Seeking Teacher Comments about Computer Science by March 10

The Education Oversight Committee (EOC) is seeking teacher comments on behalf of the South Carolina General Assembly. Teachers are asked to participate in a short online survey to provide Information about their experience, training and interest level as it relates to computer science by March 10, 2017.

Calhoun’s birthday March 18 each year by observing South Carolina Day, a day required by law in which schools shall “conduct such exercises as will conduce to a more general knowledge and appreciation of the history, resources and possibilities of this State.” S.C. educators have many rich resources about our state “at your fingertips” in ETV’s Knowitall and StreamlineSC

SCCTA Residential Graduate Seminar at Furman – FREE for SC Teachers!

For the tenth year, Furman University will hold a residential SCCTA graduate seminar on its campus in Greenville, SC from June 18-23, 2017. This program is entirely FREE (including free room and board on the beautiful campus of Furman University). This seminar addresses social studies and global studies standards that pertain to East Asia.
