Interested in Becoming an Online Educator?

This fall, start your journey to earn the SC Add-On Online Teaching Endorsement and become an online educator! PBS TeacherLine offers the two required courses SC educators must take as part of their coursework; get started with one course beginning September 13, 2017!

The Add-On Online Teaching Endorsement is an optional certification intended to enhance an educator's skills and knowledge beyond that required for traditional teaching and to prepare the individual to teach classes within an online environment.

The SC Department of Education has approved the following two PBS TeacherLine courses for credit towards earning the endorsement:

  1. TECH570: Fundamentals of Virtual K-12 Teaching
    This 6-week course is scheduled to begin September 13, 2017. It must be taken for graduate credits to be accepted for the endorsement. Learn more and enroll!
     
  2. TECH522: Online Facilitator Training I: Mastering the Skills of Online Teaching
    This course will likely be offered to begin October 2017; it also must be taken for graduate credits. Stay tuned for the course announcement.
